COMMUNITY INFORMATION FAIR JUNE 2016
The Positive Images Festival is in its 22nd year and recently won the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service 2016. The community led festival celebrates diversity, promotes partnership working, creating awareness about the services and activities of its 200 plus members. A highlight of their annual festival is the popular annual Community Information Fair.
On Friday 17th June, Cyrenians and C.I.A.S (Coventry Independent Advice Service) along with other charities, held a stall outside the Central Library in Coventry City Centre.
We used the day to network with other charities, provide information and advice, recruit volunteers, and promote our charity Coffee & Retail Shop, Windsor’s & Refreshed to hundreds of people who will passed by this area of the city during the day.
The stall was manned by staff and volunteers.
