 Stratford Preparatory School

Stratford Preparatory School in Stratford upon Avon held 2 fundraising events to raise money to help people who are homeless. Approximately 100 children and 15 staff took part in the event.

Each child paid £1 to go to school dressed as a character from a Shakespeare play on world book day.

The School also organised a walk where each family member paid an entry fee to take part in an organised walk in the countryside surrounding a local village. Children were aged 2 – 11 years old and 35 family members took part in the event and had a lovely relaxing day. The pupils, teachers and the families who got involved raised £578.76 for Cyrenians.

Gina Ben, Warwickshire Team Manager and Laura Reynolds, Fundraising Manager from Cyrenians went to visit the school to meet the pupils and staff and say THANK YOU to everyone. We also gave them a brief talk about Cyrenians and how we help and support people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
